Casa da Barragem
Casa da Barragem is the ideal destination for those looking for a peaceful refuge to disconnect from the world. Situated next to the Maranhão dam, with large windows, it offers unique moments: sunbathing on the terrace during the summer or watching the rain fall on the water during the winter, comfortably seated on the sofa, hot tea in hand. The house itself envelops us with its ample space and charming décor, creating a peaceful and cosy atmosphere - and in our opinion, the perfect setting for our new collections.
Bordaleiras slippers
We've all heard the expression ‘walking on clouds’, but have you ever experienced it? Bordaleiras turn this sensation into reality - for real! That's why they were an indispensable accessory for our session. Comfortable and warm, with a soft sole, it's like walking on clouds with your feet firmly on the ground. Now that the cold has (finally) arrived, I can't let go of mine. I may or may not have kept the Bordaleiras from the photo shoot...
Cinnamon and ginger cookies
November is the perfect month to hone your culinary skills before Christmas arrives. Start with this simple and delicious recipe for cinnamon cookies, which helped make our photoshoot feel cosier. They're ideal for a homemade treat or to impress even the most demanding family members this festive season!
Cavalinho crockery
In addition to Torres Novas table linen, the guarantee for a well-set table is to use antique and delicate crockery - like the beautiful ‘cavalinho’ plates we used in this shoot. Portugal is recognised for its tradition (and talent!) in crockery production, so there's plenty of choice. For this shoot we used a blue cavalinho service, bought at a market by the owner of the house, Teresa Braga. All the colours of the ‘cavalinho’ crockery are beautiful and full of charm - but I couldn't resist the pink service I found on OLX.

Imagine a cold winter's day - you step out of the shower and feel the chill of the fresh air, but you're immediately embraced by a warm, soft and cosy bathrobe, fresh out of the dryer. Is there anything cosier for a winter's day? Experience the luxury and comfort of Torres Novas bathrobes - now customisable on the sleeve, beyond the chest, for an exclusive touch. Our model didn't want to let go of hers for the whole session!
