October invites us to change up our wardrobe, to enjoy the cooler days and, of course!, to start thinking about Christmas. I've put together a few ideas to make the most of what the month has to offer. Shall we?

Pink October: a special cause
Pink October is a worldwide campaign to raise awareness on breast cancer. At Torres Novas, we support this cause by donating 20% of the sales of all our pink products to the Portuguese Association for the Support of Women with Breast Cancer. This is the perfect opportunity to contribute to such a noble cause while buying something special for yourself or to gift. As well as taking home something beautiful, you'll be helping many women facing this challenge.

Getaway for two: Aethos Ericeira
If you're looking for a getaway in October, I suggest Aethos Ericeira - a stunning hotel in Ericeira, near Lisbon. With stunning sea views and a relaxing atmosphere, it's the perfect destination for a weekend break. Ericeira is known for its beaches and surfing, but even for those who aren't fans of waves, the hotel's charm and cosy atmosphere will make you feel at home (but without the responsibilities of actually being at home!). If you need to recharge your batteries, this is an ideal option.

Comfort for autumn: Torres Novas duvets
With the arrival of autumn, the nights start to get cooler and cosiness becomes indispensable. This is the perfect time to invest in a good duvet. The change of season is a great excuse to buy a special item - I'm in love with Coolet's new collection! The Manon shirt, with its burgundy stripes, is versatile and comfortable. For the little ones: Pixar exhibition at the Pavilion of Knowledge, Lisbon
If you're looking for a fun and educational activity to do with the little ones, the Pixar science exhibition at the Pavilhão do Conhecimento in Lisbon, is great. It's interactive and explores the science behind Pixar films, allowing children (and adults!) to learn about special effects, animation and much more. A great opportunity for a family day out.
